SDSO and LSS Multi-Cultural Center present participatory rehearsal workshop with Native American composers
The public is invited to participate in CoLABoratory, a program of the American Composers Orchestra (ACO), giving audiences the opportunity to watch a new musical experiment unfold in real time, as composers each explore a new and form breaking idea in the realm of orchestral music.
Native American composers Diné performer Michael Begay and Oglala Lakota artist Suzanne Kite, mentored by Pulitzer Prize winning Diné composer Raven Chacon, will be visiting the Sioux Falls community to give an inside look into the process of putting together a composed piece. For more on this story and many more please purchase a copy of the Sisseton Courier on news stands now or purchase a copy of the E-edtion on this website.
