Several signs of spring have arrived in the area over the past week. There have been numerous sightings of migrating geese, bald eagles, and even a few robins, and the snow is rapidly melting in the unseasonably warm temperatures, as shown in the above photo taken Thursday, Mar. 17, about a half mile north of Sisseton High School on 457th Ave. Although there is still a lot of snow to go (and its rapid melt has unfortunately created flooding in some areas), all of these are indications that spring has definitely sprung in northeast South Dakota!
