Contrary to some rumors, Roy Lake Resort is not closing. Families can continue to make memories on their vacations at the popular lake resort, just as they have for the past several decades, because the South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks (GFP) Department purchased all resort assets in March from former owner Jan Pitzl.
