On Monday and Tuesday last week, April 19 and 20, the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate Tribe co-hosted a mass Covid-19 vaccination event in coordination with IHS and FEMA at the Dakota Connection and Buffalo Lanes parking lot from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

A follow-up event will be held on May 10 and 11 to administer the second dose of Covid-19 vaccination, as well as the first dose for any in the community seeking to start the regimen. The mobile vaccination site can administer up to 250 shots per day, and no prior appointment is necessary.
