Summer reading program begins at the Sisseton Public Library

The SD State Library encourages South Dakotans of all ages to join their local library’s summer reading program, with a goal of reaching 100,000 participants this summer. This year the State Library has purchased software called ReadSquared that will be utilized statewide.

The Sisseton Memorial Library started the local summer reading program on June 15, 2020. Packets are available for pickup. They are also utilizing the ReadSquared website and app available on Android and iOS devices. To register please go to https://sissetonmemorial.readsquared.com

In addition to ReadSquared they will have three crafts along with storytimes on Facebook and the traditional beginning and ending parties.All activities and parties will be held outdoors to ensure compliance with social distancing guidelines.
