Sisseton volleyball team knocks off Groton Area

The Sisseton Redmen Volleyball Team knocked off the Groton Area Tigers 25-21, 25-21, 25-20 in a Northeast Conference match held in Sisseton on Thursday, Sept. 10. 

Alexis Metz led the charge for the Redmen with 8 kills going 29-35 hitting, 10-10 serving with 1 ace, and 5-5 setting with 1 assist. Hailey Nelson went 107-109 setting with 14 assists and 11-14 serving with 2 aces. Avery Despiegler had 7 kills going 25-28 hitting and 6-7 serving. Kelsey Heath had 31 digs and went 21-21 serving with 1 ace.
