Sisseton School Board meets to discuss effects of COVID-19 closures to schools

The Sisseton School Board met in Special Session on Monday, Mar. 24, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. at the Multi-Purpose Room.

President Rice called the meeting to order.

Mr. Frederick, Sisseton High School principal, talked about the staff setting up online classes and the school’s outreach efforts to students and parents. During this distance learning time, teachers will be available from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. via phone for technology and instructional assistance. To contact a teacher go to the Sisseton School District website, www.sisseton.k12. sd.us, and click on the “Distance Learning” tab. Choose the school building, then scroll down to the teacher’s phone number and email information.
