Sisseton High School Class of 2021

A traditional graduation ceremony was held on Saturday, May 22, at SHS Ben Reifel Gymnasium. Forty-seven seniors received their diplomas. Above, members of the Sisseton High School Class of 2021 threw up their graduation caps as a symbol of their completion of this milestone in their lives. Student Body President Ali Metz opened the ceremony with a welcome and led the Pledge of Allegiance. At left, Class Speakers Raif Bartz and Kelsey Heath deliver their address. At right, Kierra Silk receives her diploma from School Board President William Rice. Below left School Board Member Jake Schaunaman takes the opportunity to give his son Carter his diploma. Below, the Sisseton High School Chorus under the direction of Tera McDonell sings a musical selection. The Sisseton High School Band (not pictured) played the processional and recessional, and the Wahpekute Drum Group performed a traditional Honor Song for the graduates.
