Sisseton City Cleanup

Roberts County Sheriff Tyler Appel and his wife, Sisseton City Councilwoman Brittany Appel, organized a city wide cleanup held on Sunday, Apr. 18. Around 150 people came out to help clean up the City of Sisseton. The Roberts County Sheriff’s Office, Sisseton City Police, SD Highway Patrol and Sisseton City Council members joined in the effort, along with community members and groups such as 4-H. The Sheriff’s Office donated water; Dakota Western Corp. and 3 Bean Coffee donated garbage bags; Rosalie’s donated sandwiches; Teals donated cookies; and Hamm Plumbing donated the thank you bags that were distributed to kids who aided in the clean up.
