Sisseton Area Christian Women to meet May 19

Sisseton Area Christian Women’s Club will meet at Assembly of God Family Life Center, West Highway 10, Sisseton, on Wednesday, May 19, at 9:30 a.m. Coffee and a snack will be provided. There is a small cost. The meeting will be in compliance with COVID-19 guidelines.

The speaker will be Mary McCarthy of Rochester, MN with the theme “A Pilgrimage of Hope: A Story of Faith and Medicine.” Mary discusses her brain cancer diagnosis and how God called her into a deeper relationship with Him. She has written a book of the same title, for which she won the Catholic Writers guild seal of approval.
