Pirmantgen and Carlson win appeal against county

The administrative appeal in the case of James Walter Pirmantgen and Patricia Carlson vs. Roberts County, was heard before the Hon. Jon Flemmer of the 5th Circuit Court, in Sisseton was successful. On Monday, Feb. 10, local attorney Gordon Nielsen, representing Pirmantgen and Carlson, presented an argument to the court that the county’s decision, to raise property assessments throughout the county by 10 percent across all properties, violated the law.
