Names released in Roberts County fatal crash

A Herman, MN man has been identified as the person who died Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash north of Sisseton.

Preliminary crash information indicated that a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado pickup, traveling northbound on Interstate 29, was parked on the shoulder of the road due to a flat tire. The driver was kneeling near the pickup on the driver’s side. A northbound 2013 Freightliner semi-truck and trailer was northbound on I-29 in the driving lane. The truck driver was unable to move over to the passing lane due to another vehicle and struck the pickup and its driver.
