The Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Sckerl was held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at St. John de Britto Catholic Church of Britton, SD. Rev. Fr. Albert Cizewski officiated and interment was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery of Lake City, SD. Closed casket visitation was held one hour preceding the funeral at the church on Tuesday.

Mary passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Tekakwitha Nursing Home in Sisseton, SD at the age of 84.
