Locals find Gold Ticket in Willy Wonka-style contest

A lot of fun, whimsical, nonsense continues to entertain thousands of people across the United States in an on-going Willy Wonka-style contest to give away an actual candy factory, and more. On the way to that prize, the contestant in each state who finds the state’s one Gold Ticket, through a treasure hunt, wins $5,000 in cash.

South Dakota’s ticket was hidden in Sisseton, of all places, and while dozens arrived to search for it, a local family was part of the clan that succeeded in the quest.
