Live Nativity

Youth from Grace Lutheran Church (and a couple of substitutes from Emanuel Lutheran) performed the Live Nativity on Wednesday, Dec. 22, at the Heinecke farm. They re-enacted the story of the birth of Jesus. Live animals and kids along with Baby Jesus, portrayed by Paislee Hellwig, brought the scene to life, complete with wisemen, shepherds and angels. Participants included (front row, left to right) Elliot Hortness as Mary holding Paislee Hellwig as Baby Jesus, Carter Stickland as Joseph, (middle row) Alex Stickland, Derek Karst, Jeremiah Hamm, Kennedy Hanson, Aubrie Oien, Scarlett Hanson, Cooper Rinas, Precious the donkey, (back row) Harper Hortness, Berklee Steen, Adria Bartnick, Gracie Hamm, Isabelle Spencer, Colie Schultz, Sophie German, Emma Heinecke and Haleigh Schultz.
