Some high schools have postposed graduation in hopes that a later date would allow for a more “normal” ceremony, with the risk that no postponement will change the outcome. Sisseton High School elected to continue with graduation on May 16 at 2:00 p.m., as planned.

“We met with [senior] class officers to discuss the options,” said Sisseton Superintendent Tammy Meyer. “We agreed we didn’t know if we could ever have a normal ceremony, but decided we wanted closure, so we went ahead with the original date.”
