Cross Country Region 1A held in Webster

The Sisseton Redmen Cross Country Team traveled to Webster on Thursday, Oct. 15, for the Region 1A Meet.

Curtis Bissonette Jr. took 11th place to pace the Redmen in the meet, running the 5K in 19:30.50. His run was enough to qualify him to represent

Sisseton at the State A Meet. Sisseton’s Leland Knight came in 33rd in a time of 23:00.95, and Buddy Bird came in 36th in a time of 23:56.00.

Nick Batchelor of Milbank was the medalist, running the race in 16:38.80, and led Milbank to the team title.

The State A Meet will be held Saturday, Oct. 24, in Rapid City.
