American Legion makes outdoor improvement plans

American Legion Post #50 recently installed fencing around tank to create a small memorial park.

Because of the roundabout construction on 8th Ave. East, the American Legion Post had to move both the Veterans granite memorial and the Blue Star Highway Memorial sign. During planning for the move, the members decided to incorporate the Veterans memorial, the memorial sign and the M60 tank into a small park area.
